CBR 600 f4i 2001 Engine noise ?

Default CBR 600 f4i 2001 Engine noise ?

Wondering if this noise is normal for cbr's , apologize for the bad shifting, this is one of my first times riding this bike since i've bought it.

i hear a ticking sound. in which case the CCT. hard to tell with the video, post another with just the engine running

You already have an open thread on this topic?

But its hard to tell from this video as well. Obviously this is on the fritz and will get worse. Since it doesnt sound that bad yet and you dont want to fix it...let it ride. I dont hear much else...F4i's shift pretty rough in my own opinion. Bike sounds decent.

How many miles on the bike?

When was the last time you checked the valve clearances?

i bought it at 23,000, its at 23,100 now, i havent checked valves yet idk about previous owners either

Sounds like it involves a trip to a mechanic. Its not for begginers.
