Default Car hid kit on f4i?

So I was thinking about doing an hid lit on my bike using a kit made for a car. Does the hid kits HAVE to be for motorcycles specifically or can you put any hid kit in as long as the light bulb setup is the same??

Any 35W H7 kit will work. Just be mindful of the ballast size as you will have to find a place to hide them.

^^^ any will work but why would you do that? You have some spare lying around?
Theres a bunch of motorcycle kits with slim ballasts that are easier to mount.

Cost would probably be a major determining factor, availability (since car kits are more common and widely distributed), familiarity if you have already used a certain kit on your car, etc.

You're probably right. Soon after writing that I realized that I once also was looking for car kits for the exact same reasons you wrote. I just didn't bought any cuz' I rarely ride in the dark.

I wear lenses and I'm a bat with myopia so, it's not the hid that's gonna help...

There are slim ballasts for cars too so, my bad.
