Ok i have been searching endlessly for frame slider, clear LED tail-light w/integrated turn signals or not, Fender eliminator kits, under tails, and other small CBR or CBR F4i parts i.e chain guards, fluid caps, Blue CBR handle grips, tree protectors, etc. EVERYTHING i find says either 99-01 or 01-05 but not 06'.. what exactly is the difference between the 05 and 06 models. When did they start the one piece seat thing. I like the 2 piece seat look ALOT better. Is their a kit or something so I can make mine have the 2 piece seat?
Gosh this is kinda frustrating. Well if anyone can point me in a direction for parts for my 06' I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Also, if anyone with an F4i with the one piece seat has any pix of any of the upgrades they have done I would love to see them!! Especiallyany of a fender eliminator kit, clear tail light, frame sliders, and different front turn signals!! THANKS SO MUCH !!!

 

Buy any part that is for an 04 or 05. If you buy an exhaust, get the CA model as it includes the mount for the o2 sensor (again 04 or 05 is fine).

Yeah ^^ anything you can find for the 04-05 models wil fit on the '06.

 

OK Thats great to hear! Hey brianAZ where did you get your fender eliminator kit? Was it hard to install?

 

You can order the Competition Wekes FE kit from many retail stores online. I don't remember it being much of a price difference at any of the online stores. You could always go to froogle and see what comes up.

The install wasn't the most pleasurable experience. I ended up having problems with pretty much everything. For example, the nuts on the rear turn signals rounded when I tried to remove them. I was even using a 10mm wrench. They were just so soft. I found the instructions to be very poor. They pretty much expect you to look at the pictures and figure it out for yourself. Unfortunately, the instructions I received had been copied so many times that the pictures were very grainy. I did an online search for online tutorials, and I found a couple where people had made their own. Their pictures helped a bunch and I was able to see where to cut. After that it was just a matter of bolting things together.

 

I have a 2004 F4i. I have done these changes to my bike:

Clear Alternatives - integrated tail light.
Olson Composite - Carbon Fiber undertail kit.
Bolt-on sliders - to avoid drilling holes!
Zero Gravity - smoke windscreen.
Tapeworks - Rim tape.
Pipe - Jardine Carbon fiber Rt-1 Race baffle.
