can someone clarify the 02 sensors and 2006 models etc
iv decided to finally get an exhaust....... i know wanna make sure....i have a 2006 model, NOT a Cali model. can someone clarify this 02 sensor business? do i need a hole for the 02 or not? and will an exhaust that says 2001-2005 fit?
what is the best exhaust for under $300? are there any carbon fiber ones for under $300? is it possible to get a Two Bros for under $300 anywhere? and where do you guys usually buy your exhausts from?

sorry to reply to my own post, but i just wanna add a thought....in my research it appears that the 2006 model exhaust is esentially the same as the Cali exhaust? both have an 02 sensor?
part 2...options
Two Bros M2 VALE i found at morepowerracing.com for $340 shipped. is this the best deal out there?
A yoshi RS3 for $287 shipped.
what others should i consider?
what sounds better?
how does the M2 look in person?

If you want something cheaper, I just bought my Jardine High Mount carbon fiber exhaust (brand spankin new) from ebay for $225 (MSRP approx $575).... The person I bought it from actually works for Jardine... It seems like they are trying to liquidate their F4i exhaust.
I think the seller's name is dualrt5. Also, I have never had such great service from any internet business... The person was just simply amazing when it came to prompt replies for my questions.
The exhaust looks awesome, although it does require removal of the passenger pegs. Also, its not quite as loud as a 2bros, but it still has a great sound to it.

yeah my wife will be riding with me some, so i cant remove the passenger pegs, otherwise id have bought one of those CF jardines of ebay in 2 seconds. thats a GREAT deal.
so i guess im really thinking Two Brothers, i have yet to hear anyone say anything bad about them, everyone seems to love two brothers.

hell, one of the biggest selling points to me (aside from the price) was the removal of the pegs... Now I have a valid excuse to not take the woman along for a ride
Also, I used to have a 2bros. Great pipe, easy install, awesome looks and sound. Just make sure to check for leaks when you screw in the o2 sensor. If I remember correctly, the exhaust kit will come with a new gasket for the sensor... Also, if you really want to avoid leaks, use some high temp silicone on it before you put it in.
