Uhh, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's where your right foot peg is supposed to be?

And you ride without one?

Uh yeah i cant wait to see this answer!? IF your talking about the spring its for the footpeg to fold in and out!!! so if you drop your bike the peg will fold up! Spring pushes the pegs down........

Well that makes sense I guess i just had a dumb moment. If you saw my other post, you saw i looped it and I'm just now putting it back together. However, this doesn't explain how I rode it home (after the crash)over a mile without noticing this. Seems like one of those things that would be glaringly obvious considering I snapped my front break lever and was relying solely on the rear brake.

Yikes!!! Did you by chance hit your head on the loop out? You might want to consider a cat scan.

don't worry... we've all had dumb moments in our lives.

don't u ever have those REALLY dumb moments where you can't read? Or words look weird to you? One day, I looked at some words like "the" and I was seriously going... taaa heee... isn't the spelled thuh? hehe. omfg... that was messed up.

Like I said seems like something I would notice. I guess I either just didn't notice it or it cracked and fell off after I got it into the garage(even though I haven't found the pieces).
