haha looks like you're good to go bro. and i know when i bought my two bros slip-on, the midpipe had the hole for my 02 sensor, and if you dont have one they supplied the RTV sealent and the bolt to block it off. but it appears you dont have an 02 sensor.

Dangit I have a California model and I freaking bought my bike in Wisconsin!! So if you buy a slip on will they all have the holes in them for that stupid O2 sensor? What the heck is it for anyway?

just be careful when purchasing one but i belive most of the slip-ons, you'll find have the hole in them already and come w/ a block off bolt for if you DONT have a sensor. otherwise, they may sell a seperate slip-on called a "california model". i believe the 02 sensor is just for emissions and stuff, same as 02 sensors on cars, but i could be wrong.

The O2 sensor helps lower emissions and fuel economy by leaning out the fuel mixture when the motor is running at constant RPMs.

In buying a slip-on, you can get one that has the bung for the sensor or you can also buy a "normal" slip on and eliminate the O2 sensor by getting a plug that actually replaces the O2 sensor's wiring and apparently tells the ecu that everything's a-ok!

imma gonna cry...finally someone who gets it!

as for cali model, i believe all 06 f4is are the same...with all the cali emission crap.

it's more than just an O2 sensor, there's the charcoal canister sitting on the bottom of the bike and the rest of the smog emissions guts all over.

I'm glad I could be there for you Tahoe--if you need a shoulder, I'm here.

Also, I think it's time I admit it, I do love your siggy. I have from the moment I first saw it. I just didn't say anything earlier because I was afraid of being hurt.

There. I said it. To be honest, I feel better about it, too.

LOWER fuel economy or HELPS fuel economy? Would it be better for me to buy that thing that tells the ecu that everything is A-ok or just make sure micron sends me a slip on with the hole for the O2 sensor?....

PS you guys should play tummy sticks!!!!! I don't know how to play it exactally but I think you could figure it out if you watch wedding crashers! =D
