It looks way better split, but get ready for a sore *** after long rides. My 02 is nowhere near as comfy as my brothers 04. I wouldnt give up my split seats for that tho.

 

I guess I'm in the minority. When I bought my CBR I only looked at the '99 - '00 F4 and the '04 or newer F4i because I like the look of the one-piece seat better. I think the small passenger seat looks goofy (unless it's covered by a cowl -- that looks cool). Anyone out there with me?
