BT-016's are comparable to the PP 2cts, and you can buy a set (front and rear) for you bike for about 250 shipped from ebay. They aren't the crap bridgestones that come oem on bikes and ruin peoples opinions of the battleaxs, these perform up to par with the best hyper street's out there. Check out the tire roundup in the latest issue of Sport Rider if you want more info on them, they did very well, second only to the pilot powers 2ct, and only then by a very small score difference.

Wow. That seems like an insanely high price for tire mounting.
I live in Florida, ride a lot and do a lot of tire changes. I remove the wheel and take it to the local Honda dealer, who typically charges $25 for mounting. Sometimes they don't charge at all.
In return, I buy tires through them when I can. Even if the tire is $15 more, I like to support the local dealer so when I need something on a Saturday morning--as I did yesterday--they'll be there.

I'm all about supporting my friendly neighborhood Honda Dealer, but when I found out I could save over $60 for a rear tire online, I opted not to be quite so charitable. They will however get my patronage with just about everything else. The mechanic there was an older gentleman who appeared to really know what he was doing; I'd trust him with my bike.

I just wanted to wrap up my original post here with the conclusion:
It's been a toss up between Diablo Strada & Dunlop RoadSmart for me after a long research. I went with Dunlop's. I got the best deal from eBay from two separate sellers for each tire (front & back) - out of pocket cost = $245. I also found a local shop here to take the new tires to. I will bring the wheels only. $35/wheel for tire mount & balance.
Happy Spring to you all!!

i have the michellin PP 2CTs
i like them, plenty of grip, i believe $180 for the back, not sure about the front
as far as installation find someone to do it besides the stealership
they charge $70 an hour for labor at my place and they make sure they take almost an hour to change it. i now founda buddy who rides who knows how to do it so ill def be goin to him next time
