ok guys been a long tome sense ive been on i sold my old f4i and have been sad ever sense any ways i found a 2001 red/white f4i with 2000 miles the guys asking 3950 for it he said he would take 3700 i hit him at 3500 but no go should i buy it or am i paying to much the bikes in mint condition any help would be great

 

I think it's a great deal. 2000 miles is near brand new! I got really really lucky buying an 06 f4i for 3,600 with 6,800 miles on it in October, and that was 1,500 less than the going rate at the time. If you like it, buy it!! It will go quickly.

 

that's a good deal, if you're sure you want an f4i. if you're looking for a faster sport bike, then i'd save up for an RR.

definitely buy that. That's a killer deal. About 5 years ago I paid 3600 for my 01 f4i with 7k miles on it.

 

I was gonna say no... But apparently that's a good price lol I guess I got mine for a steal, 3 grand for my 03 f4i. Had 4900 miles, two bros pipe and two brand new battle axes mounted

 

Yeah but an 01 with 2000 miles on it for that price??? Hands down that's a great deal.

 

An 01 for 3700 just didn't seem that great to me, even with 2k miles. I'm still a noob to FI but only 2k miles I assume would mean it has been sitting a lot. That's like 200 miles a year lol

 

It may have some lot rot, but I'm guessing being in utah its not very humid out there ever, I could be wrong. If its been stored indoors its pretty much a brand new F4i. Some guys keep bikes low miles like that from the 70's and 80's they always look like they just stepped out of a time machine. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. My 01 F4i had 15K on it last march and I paid $3500, wasn't mint either. Little dumb on my part but it was what I wanted. In my area nice clean ones can go for 4k all day long.

 

I would jump on that deal also if thats the bike you want. In my area it was hard to find any f4i for under 4g that was in decent shape. After months of waiting I found a mint condition white/red one with some expensive add ons for 3500 and the bike had 8500 miles. I jumped on it and NO regrets!
