+1 to JeffJones.
Without knowing some specifics it's hard to tell you a price to expect. Also, take into consideration aftermarket parts on the bike you are considering versus the aftermarket parts you'd want to install. You will also want to keep in mind that a lot of aftermarket parts don't add value to the bike.

I agree with them, but i'll just let you know i got a decently clean '02 F4i 30k miles, two bro exhaust, some led underglow, k&n intake, slammed (unfortunately, but i got it raised back up), repainted (not the best, but decent) with a couple cracks or breaks in faring, but overall pretty decent bike for $2800. I've since put about $500 more in her and now know she needs a ~$500 valve adjustment, but the former was optional and the latter was just normal mainetence. Hope that helps.

I paid $3,200 for my 2002 F4i on 2/2011 here in Los Angeles. The bike came with Repsol Fairings, PCIII, 2 bro carbon can, LED signals, undertail, R6 projectors and 5,643 on the ODO. It was literally brand spanking new. TBH, i think i just lucked out because i was being very patient when buying a bike.
Best of luck
