Default Blinker Running Light??

Hey guys...New to the forums and not sure if this post should go in the technical cuz that said "non-specific questions" so here goes. Bought a 03 F4i and the front left blinker is funtional but it doesn't stay on at all times (running light) How hard of a fix would you say this is? I rebuilt my car and have since decided to look into profesional labor when needed so how much would you say the shop fee would be for somethin like this? Fix it myself or take it in?

Check the wires and blub ... I'd give it a good look over...
Dont know about where you are but the local shop here charges 45 per hour with a min of 3 hours labor then you have parts on top.. so instantly your looking at $135.00 ... and all it maybe is a simple wire or bulb or even the bulb housing. ... Move the Right bulb to the left and see what happens...

But sounds like wire issue.

I'd say a loose wire, or (I believe), the bulbs are dual filament....could just be one of the filaments (the one for you driving light) is going out, or now gone. I'd at least look at the connections and bulb before you pay someone to do it.

Good deal...Ya i figured one of the filments (sp) is out after posting this the first time... I'll give it a look. Just gotta figure out how to pull that bulb out without tak'n the whole blinker off...Itty bitty moving room...

Ummm...I think you just have to unscrew one phillips screw on the blinker lense. I'm not 100% sure, because I've never really looked, but if I remember correctly, just have to take out one screw.
