If it's gotta be a 600 have you looked at an SV650? It doesn't matter if you say you won't do anything stupid...its the beginner mistakes that will bite you harder on a 600 than they will on a 250 or 500, or even the 650.

But to answer your question I would go F4i...but then again this is a Honda board.

Thanks everyone for your advise.

I'm no longer looking into getting a ZX6R.

It's going to be a 01-03 F4i unless a 00-02 F4 is any better but I don't see why.

Man - your killing me. No-No my friend 600 is plenty enough for me. My need for speed days are over - I just want a fun toy for the weekend.

Anyone have a 01-03 CBR 600 F4i for sale in Dallas/Ft. Worth TX

oh dont worry theres not a person on this board that can push a F4i to its limits lol.
not true...quite a few pudgy folks on this forum push the suspension to the limits just by sitting on it...muahhaahh...

gear...get some real gear...not this textile and short gloves bs...

leather jacket that fits you snug and feels like you can't breathe...and then you stretch this **** out to fit you like a glove.
race/gauntlet gloves cause they will help if you ever go down. riding pants...if you do the weekend thing...cause a kneecap grounded off is no fun to look at.

boots...sidis...alpinstars, teknics, etc...

beware of them 'street' looking gear...cause they won't help you when you decide to push/ride hard.

anything loose fitting is horrible...the inside of the fabric will act as a sander/belt grinder if you ever fall.

Like was said before me, ur gonna get a biased opinion here, but this was my first year with a bike and i thought the f4i was fine.
u just have to be responsible about it and aware.
alot of ppl say u shouldnt even start on somethin as big as a 600, which i can understand why, but its really just a matter of opinion
i felt like i could control the bike enough (and myself) to be ok with it so i did it and so far so good.

so i guess im saying id def get the f4i

Don't listen to him, nobody starts out on a 1000 for their first bike. Some have done it, but there's too much power for you to start learning on. Be sure you get take the MSF class and get the basics down.
