Default Best Battery

What is the best battery for our bikes? Have an 01' F4i. Battery died after being impounded Anyway, got the bike started with my jump pack, but now won't keep a charge for long (cuts off FI system when over 2k rpm, then won't start without a jump again)... So what is the best battery to buy, and where is the best price?

Thanks.

...everything was great before the police got involved...
So anyway

If the bike won't stay running then your charging system is no good. I ran a dead battery every day to and from work for a couple weeks when I was broke once.

I get what your saying... (for the record, i dont' know **** about bikes)... i am a honda tech (cars) and sometimes, if you put a vehicle under hard load (espcially w/ aftermarket parts (hids on bike)) it draws from the battery a bit... I can keep the bike running under 2k rpms, but seems like there is soo little juice ( lights won't even come on) that the bike dies under any type of load...

does that make sense or am i just retarded...??

sorry... thank you for your help...

Is there much of a size difference between the Yuasa and the Ballistic? Mines not going to last much longer.. I want a Lith Ion to free up a little space too..

Everyone is saying Yuasa but I'm going to say Interstate. They are expensive, but I think the FA-YTZ10S for our bike has a lifetime warranty

It makes sense. Im guessing your charging system is just barely working, only enough for hardly running. Like I said I ran mine dead for weeks, and that included 14,000rpm spurts now and then.

And just so everyone knows, interstate motorcycle batterys ARE yuasa batterys with a different sticker.
