Default Bent Stay?

Hey Guys and Gals,

I was wondering if my stay is bent. Here is a pic of my front cowl and windscreen. As you can see from the pic you can fit a flat head screw driver between the windscreen and the front cowl easily. I would say there is about a 1/8" gap between the 1st and 2nd screw on both sides of the front cowl.

It's possible. When you turn your handlebars full to the right, does any part of your clip-on hit the stay?
