Default Bent my rear wheel - what to do?

Yesterday I was riding in the rain and hit a huge pothole that was full of water - didn't look like pothole...Bent rear wheel...bad?

Well, it looks like this....

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Is it fixable? How much does that normally cost? Would it be better to buy used straight wheel off ebay? or maybe someone on forums has rear wheel for sale?

Thanks in advance guys!

There are places that fix wheels. If it's still holding air, thats a good sign.

May even be worth using a piece of wood and giving it a smack with a hammer...

You can try straightening it, but it's aluminum and may crack.

It's bad enough I wouldn't want to ride it any distance. You might have a tire/rim
store look at it and see what they advice, repair or replace.

I am seeing them on ebay for $50-$75, used.

Good luck, Ern

some places won't even touch a aluminum wheel.
if it can be done, it will be weaker and unsafe, for me at least.
if there is a technique for bending it back properly, i imagine it to be costly.
