Benefits of Frame sliders?

ok, looked like noone really told you straight forward what they are for exept Tahoe. It is to protect your FRAME, not your fairings. They will only be useful in a low speed tip over for the plastics. Frame sliders are the number one thing that should go on a bike. The frame is the integral part of the bike, and if it gets "injured", the bike is totalled, so frame sliders are not fairing protectors like some think, they are for the frame

not everyone has full coverage and have baller money to replace fairings at a drop, nor have insurance replace the bike if the frame gets damaged. hence these are recommended to non-baller type riders, who don't care about cutting the fairings to protect the frame.
in a slide, after the fairings are gone, you start grinding away your frame...which most likely would've been saved if it was grinding away a slider in the first place. they are functional...and great insurance. for those who won't install them because they will cut holes in the frame...why even bother riding? why not just keep the bike in a glass case and hook it up to a trailer and tow it everywhere you go?
