I bought my '04 with 5775 on the clock, all stock, never been dropped, and mint for 5000. He even threw in his helmet. He originally asked for 5500. Your deal sounds a bit high too me.
FWIW... a friend of mine sold his '04 600RR for 4500 with about 10k on the clock and a few tasteful mods. Keep lookin' around. You're right in the middle of riding season so prices will be high right now.

RE: beginner looking at f4i, good price?
i found another one in my area 2000 Honda CBR 600 F4. 4040 miles. Mint condition. NO scratches or dings. All original, no modifications. New battery 4/07.
Bought Sept 2000 with 250 miles. Always garaged. Oil changed each winter before storing. No wheelies, no burnouts, never down, never abused. Excellent bike that I would love to keep but I just don’t have time to ride anymore . This bike is amazing. I barely use half its potential and the performance is phenomenal. 115 hp, less than 400 pounds (dry weight), 100% stock.
hes asking 5000 and it might be a little bit older but less miles and better condition. just wondering the difference between a 2000 f4 and a 2002 f4i..thanks
