Beginner on a CBR600F4i
Hey!
I've recently got my license and im interested in a CBR600F4i, i don't have experience riding bikes besides the ones i drove in my driving classes which was a honda CBF600. I've heard the CBR600F4i is a great beginners bike but what scares me is that the bike doesn't have ABS or traction control.
I would like to hear your opinion and please be gentle this is my first time making a thread and i just got into this world of bikes XD.

hey there and welcome. It sounds as if you have taken the most important first step in taking a motorcycle safety course. If not, that is the absolute first thing that you should probably do.
As to whether or not these bikes are great, beginner bikes is highly debatable and often a topic of discussion on the forums. But I won’t get into that right now.
I will say that while your concern about ABS is valid the vast majority of motorcycles on the road do not have ABS. Traction control is a great thing however not having it should not eliminate a bike if you really want one.
Becoming comfortable on the bike and confident in a number of surroundings is more important in my opinion

Gotcha, Thanks for the info!
About the safety course, here in Portugal it's mandatory to have a written and driving test before having your motorcycle license, especially if you want a 600cc bike you need to be over 24 years old. Yeah it sucks and it takes almost over 1 year.

The F4i was my first motorcycle and honestly I think is a great beginner bike. It has power but not a crazy amount of power. I've never felt the need for traction control. ABS, yeah...I could see that being nice but as hamlin6 mentioned, that's tough to find.
I would say go for it on the F4i. Do not regear it and you'll be fine. It is a very stable bike and easy to control. The ride position is not too aggressive, I've done 500 miles in a day and not had any issue.

Understood!
What's the fuel consumption of the bike looking like for a person that just uses it for going to work? I've heard a different variety of answers.
I will use the bike as my daily vehicle for work, so usually it will be for short trips in my city.

Engines need to be worked and short trips round town would not do that.
Five km there and 5 back through town? I think the engine would hardly ever be up to full temp but I was actually thinking about the amount of time the engine would be working at more than a fraction of its output - an engine needs to work to stay healthy.
Jees Ed - it's a Honda CBR - it will last forever if it's abused, and beyond forever doing 5km runs. Go for it - enjoy the fact you're riding a bike that is 5x more capable than you need it to be.
