Default Battery stuck?

hey guys i know this sounds like a silly question but i've only had my bike for 2 weeks now, it's been having problems with starting recently so i tried to take the battery out today and can't seem to get leverage to pull it out? any suggestions? thanks!

I just had this problem a few days ago too. My advice is to use a flathead screwdriver and wedge it under one of the terminals on the battery to get some leverage and try and lift it out from that side while pulling up with your fingers on the other side. It worked for me with some wiggling and finessing. Also, there's a small hole about the size of a quarter or so in the battery tray directly centered underneath the battery. Kind of hard to see and get to but maybe you can push up with something through the hole while pulling up on battery at the same time. Hope that helps.

just thought of another idea. If you happen to have locking pliers (2 of them is even better) maybe you can lock them onto the terminals from the top and lift it out that way.

getting the battery out is utterly annoying...and I have small fingers The plastic casing that supports the battery is bendable ...at least on my bike and I just bend the palstic out so I can get 2 fingers down there....about 5 minute of non-stop jiggling..it'll come out.

I'll probably copy my bud, and put a thin rubber or plastic lace under the battery when I first take it out, with both ends sticking up for easy peasy removal for all other later instanced that the battery requires to be hauled out.

For now. The wiggle method. lol

There's a hole on the bottom of the battery box. Stick your finger (or some other object) in the hole & push hard, lol.

Remove battery terminals and tuck them to the side, put screws back in about three threads, now you have small handles to grab with your fingers.

Works everytime for me.
