Bar end just spinning
 

just like the title says my bar end is just spinning. went to replace old worn or grips and the left side just spins the wieght inside. the end of the old grip is still on the bike. Not sure if im supose to pull that wieght out. just wanted to check befor i cause more trouble then i wanna get into.

You have to hold the bar end and take out the phillips screw that goes through it.

Yea you got it, pull the weight out and hold it to tighten the bar end, rubber gromets hold the weight in place.

well its the piece inside the bar giving me the trouble its just spinning inside the bar and ive tried pulling the entire thing out. so i cant get the bolt off the bar end to put the new one on.

i figured it out i had the machine shop at work drill and pin the wieght to stop it from spinning. got the new grips installed. they look good.
