Yeah, that's confirmed on my 01. I haven't ever had them -all- go away, but the very last one was trying once.

wow didn't even know the reserve bars dissappeared guess i never let them go that far ...bad for business right there

I've been seeing a consistent 42-45 miles per gallon, i did just have my spark plugs replaced at 19k and am running full synthetic oil, so that could be contributing to my mileage. I don't go to easy on the old girl, i can't help but twist the wrist and see the upper rpms.

My reserve light came on after 85 miles. Whats going wrong.

When you fill up at the gas station do you leave your bike on the kickstand and fill it? Or do you sit on the bike and keep it level? If you have it on the stand you will only be able to fill about 2/3 of the tank. Could be other factors though.

I wouldn't put much stock in the reserve lights. How much fuel are you putting in when you fill up?

im getting 38 to 43 mpg on 01..

I filled up with 91 and it took 3 gal. I may have done the kickstand thing and not noticed. I'll make sure next time and clock it again. Thanks btw

dang, i'm getting low 30s to maybe ~35...the most that i have gone on a tank is 119. I'm going to try to fill up sit'n on the bike (i usually fill her up with the kick stand down)
