i think thats what im gona do. where would you guys mount the switch
My bike is a streetfighter so not many places to mount a switch I actually made a bracket and connected it to my radiator bolt so it sit on the left right above the radiator...on full farings I would say in the black plastic (air duct covers) would be a good place

Thanks StuntPunkJames, I spend a lot of time in the parking lot with my stunt buddies, bike gets hot a hell. This would be a nice fix.

i ended up doing the switch mod as well. i took a bunch of pictures ,and even made a video tutorial. i will post it asap.

i used the radiator fan bolt for the ground as well. i used the air duct cover for the switch mounting. it takes about 15 minutes to do, and i havent had problems yet. when cruising in mid 80* weather with the fan on, at 15mph or faster, the temp stays around 180-190

about the water temp boiling above 212*. while that is true, its not true in the case of our motors. the way the pressure is setup, some how (ive read about it, but dont know the technical info about it off the top of my head) keeps the boiling point lower. ill see if i can get some info if your interested in that.

Antifreeze not only lowers the freezing point it raises the boiling point.
