Default Asking for exhaust advice

Hey everyone

I just bought a CBR600 F4i and I'd like to replace the stock exhaust as it's ugly as hell. What are the best slip-on options for F4i? I checked Akra, Yoshi, LeoVince sites, and they all seem to stopped producing exhausts for this model. I'm looking for something with E number that's not obnoxiously loud (I know it'll be louder than stock), and has something similar looks to the typical rounded triangle design from Akra.

Thank you in advance.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm partial to the Yoshimura. Have the RS-3 on F3's and TRS on the F4i's.

No interest in a shortie?

Super lightweight, cheap, and not obnoxiously loud...

Thank you. I got to admit, I don't really like the looks of this Yoshimura. I've seen plenty of absolutely gorgeous Yoshimura slip-ons but this one is not for me.

It looks great, I like it. Which brand and model is it? Does it have E number and the place for the O2 sensor in its link pipe?

I am considering the Coffman Shorty, but not so cheap in the UK along with import tax comes to about $320 or so
If you want an E marked system. Delkevic would be my current choice.

Oh and no the Coffman will not be 'E' marked, but it does have the O2 sensor fitting.

That's not a shorty, thats an exhaust tip mounted to the mid pipe hence its lack of price or weight. The loud part is subjective, I think they are terrible sounding.

I love the look and sound of my yoshimura. The first one made it about 30,000 miles before I was rear ended and it was crushed. The replacement is at 40k miles now and the metal where the O2 sensor is welded in just broke, leaving the O2 sensor [with sensor bung still threaded on] hanging in space and a giant hole in the mid pipe. Thankfully I had the mid pipe saved from the rear ended pipe so it was a free repair.

Okay, Mr. Technical! I get it, and to each his own! I do keep the baffle in at least!
