Anyone ever sell a bike on ebay?
I was wondering if anyone has done this and how it went for them. I am looking into possible selling my bike and I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about it. Also, sell it with the mods or take them off and sell them separately?? I spoke with a dealer and he said he'd give me like $6000 for it without me even telling him about the mods. It only has 1050 miles on it.

craigslist is the best method. I would not recommend posting on Oodle or Cycletrader; those posts will stay up for months after you sell your bike.
I personally never attempted to sell on EbAY but my friend did it successfully. When they guy came down to pick up the bike he did bargin a bit and got a $200 discount; however, that is tipical of any buyer.
g-luck.
BTW, ebay has a larger audience than CL. So, if you would like to get rid of your bike within the next month than I recommend doing both.

the thing i have noticed about most cars or bikes sold with mods is they dont matter. you might as well be giving them a way becuase they dont increase the value of the bike. most times people equate modded with beat on also 90% of banks go by blue book on the value of a car or bike and thats what there willing to give a lone for and nothing more. personally if you have the stock parts put them and sell the aftermarket parts seperatly
