those dont look like they would light up the plate any, just **** off the guy behind you.

 

I'm not exactly sure about these particular lights, but i know my buddy just put a similar one on his 06 600rr. The light he used didn't have all of the metal mounting stuff around it, but it was the same shape and color as that one i think. If they are close to being the same light then they are pretty bright. He's got one of them mounted in the middle of his tag and you can see it pretty decent when you're behind him at night. So i'm guessing two of them would be twice as bright(could be). Anyways hope that helps.

 

yep thats all they do is anoy the ****e out of ppl, trust me, i was pulled over by the cops and charged $75 AUD for haven them on my firestorm....... bad idea..

hey trixtrem i noticed you got the same tail like i have do you still use them or you changed them after you got the ticket??? im trying to roud up some info the best way to provide light for my licence plate

 

You can go look at them at Autozone.
I bought the LED windshield washer lights and used them for the plate mount bolts.
They point the light down across the plate

 

i thought of them but aint they too bright ???? they must light the road behind you too

Why don't you guys just get a lighted licence plate frame? They are built to light up the entire plate, so you guy's don't have to ghetto rig stuff up. I ordered one of the black ones along with the integrated signals so I can get rid of that shovel on the back end. lol.
