annother new tail thread, this time something different...

I've been thinking about this, as I did the 600RR front end conversion, and have everything to do the 600RR swingarm. I would love to get a 2007 or newer 600rr bike instead, BUT loosing the trunk space on the F4I is not something that I am willing to do, for now lol!

99% done
I am almost done only need to tap threads into the mounting holes for the tail and reg/rec, mount the tail light, make a plastic cover between the tail and subframe to cover the wires and bottom of the tank and paint it up and im not working tomorrow so should be finished by the afternoon

I really like what you have done here. It looks great, and I think that the way you made your "Frankenbike" as I like to call them, is super cool. I need to get a new tail for my 2001 F4 I because the previous owner managed to crack mine somehow. He cracked it and scraped it up on the left side yet there is no other scratches on the bike. Let me know if you want to sell your old tail.

thanks, yeah it could easily be done where the bottom of the new subframe bolts to the frame if i had drilled more holes the angle would always be adjustable, but then the fairing would only mould against the tank well in one position
