akra exhaust

Default akra exhaust

quik question i have a 06 f4i and bout a akra exhaust but doing a lil search now should i have ordered a cali model now or is the standard exhaust for mine ok. it was a 04-05 akra non cali.

CA standards are for emission purposes. If you don't live in CA then you won't need to pass those tests and a regular system is fine.

sweet thx, only reason i asked cuz i searched and saw someone say it thats all, whew glad i dont live in cali, here in va. now just cant wait to get it in the mail

the new bikes have the cali emmission stuff on them. if you ordered non-cali 04-05 it wont' come with an bun to install the O2 sensor.

you options are to tap and weld a nut there that's the same thread pitch/size as the 02 sensor, return for non-cali midpipe, or get an O2 sensor eliminator. the last option would = less miles per gallon but wouldn't affect performance...just crusing you us more fuel.

i would just take the midpie, drill and weld a nut to it.

lol damn i was afraid of that o well, looks like ima have to get my boys welder out and do it. lol i was about ot order the yosh pipe but cali emissions only they sold so i said no. but doing the research here akra is a very nice and good sounding exhaust so im glad this all happened
