Default Air box

I just got a 2001 f4i and I am trying to change out the cct... Can anyone tell me the preferred method for removing the air box? I'm not sure how to disconnect the map sensor? From the air box...

if the upper cowl is off the easiest way is to disconnect the snorkels at the mid way point, just stick your finger in at the bottom and pop them out.
i think you can disconnect the map sensor with it still connected to the throttle bodies, it is probably just stuck on there.
you have a little play on everything so you can unscrew it and lift and try again. its the same as any connector, squeeze the right spot and pull.

I changed mine by just lifting the tank and removing the right fairing. It's tight but I have
big hands and had no problem, you need the right tools.

A 1/4" drive ratchet, a couple extensions, and a few wobbly's did the trick for me. No need to remove the air box.

I rather unscrew the airbox rather than squeezing my big hands into that tiny spot trying to unscrew the sensor from the bottom. Take less time and effort IMHO.

I tried one day for two freakin' hours and could not get mine out. Could never get the bit to bite enough, it just kept slipping.
