RE: 929 forks on a 600?
Badass. I have to buy the whole front end anyway (clipons, fender, rim, brake stuff, etc) so I think I may just go ahead and do the 929 swap. Do you know of any write ups from people who have done it? Just need to figure out what parts i need to get from the 929 and what i need from the f4i.

RE: 929 forks on a 600?
i did the swap on my bike
The 929/954 forks are 1 inch shorter than the f4i, and the clipons mount under the top triple which may give u a clearance problem with your upper or the ram air tubes, I had that problembut i have FI clipons, try using stock 929 clipons that may solve the problem
in the pic below i lowered the bike about 1 1/2 inch to mount the clipons on top of the triple and it didnt hit the anything, but the bike sat too low, ive heardof people complaining about the wheel hitting the rad from this set up so i invested in a hohey triple which solves the problem
