looks like an interesting project. i've looked up 929 calipers and they're all in the year 00-03. i know this maybe a stupid question but will the 00-03 929 calipers fit? man... someone does need to do a DIY write-up on this for idiots like meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.... or can someone just tell me exact parts and where to get em pls? thx

Damn Rob it is nice to see some local riders up here! Yeah They worked fine!!!! bleeding was a bitch as i did one at a time! But for sure and I will let you know! You'll have to pm me your number or something and hit up one of the local bikes night when I get my bike back
together!
March 8 isnt the shop opening it is, if I am correct first raced weekend of AMA at infenion! We are having dyno runs (hopefully), susposed to be a stunt show, vendors are supposed to show up, hooters girl aka cleavage girls and more!! Party starts at 8!
oodayvidoo-
There are several ways to do the conversion- You can just swap out your enitre calipers! Or swap calipers, upgrade break lines, and change the master cylinder 929s 954s RC51 use the same MC and are susposed to be a better MC, Altho I dont get how?
929 954 and rc51 All fit or bikes! To do the conversion is quite. If you get the bible for our bikes its pretty simple, change calipers bleed brakes to regain feeling....its not to hard!
I just changed the calipers, and will change my brake lines to s/s brake lines... I am not racing all the time so I dont think it to be that important yet....

Is it just me or does that front wheel look bigger then the back.
Whats your unbiased approach on how it handles with the front end conversion?
Looks real nice except for the chopped up tail and what appear to be helibars or bar raises but i understand its a stunter and these things must be done.

I herd a new front end is a big upgrade. Parts are more readily avail. valving is a big are improvement and srpings are stiffer and better apparently! talk to a bunch of guys who stunt that converted there f4i's with 929 954 rc51 1000rr 600rr and gxsr front ends. Only problem is if you cant do it your self and do it right you gotta pay someone to do it!

RE: 929 brakes calipers on f4i!
No no picks for another week! I bust my damn rim trying to pull the dumba** bearing! So I had to order a new one! Hopefull I will have my rims week after next!!!
Lame.... I am getting the itch to ride really bad!!!!
On the good side of things I have all the brake calipers on! Rear was a pain because the line that feeds the brake fluid to the cailper is on the left of of the caliper and the f4i's are on the right side....it was a game of angles!!!
Ill post back soon!
