I would stick with 4 piston calipers and knowning that 929 brake calipers will work!!! 6 pistions unless for look dont seem to be any better then 4 pistion...

Im going 929/954 route..... I know there wont be any issuses with 929/954

 

what new brake lines do i need for this conversion, also ima ge tthe front and rear, i need the 929 master cylinder correct, i wish there was a write up for this

 

I mean its easy but teadous!

Unless you are doing a front end swap..... the process is the same for taking off our current brake calipers!
I know that eventually I am going to get the Mast. Cylinder of the 929...but also do steel braided brake lines in the front...

929/954 front brake caliper and master cylinder
929/954 rear brake caliper and master cylinder
ss brake lines

thats it correct, i dont want to purchase all this stuff and need somethign else. just wanna make sure before i do this conversion

 

Yes Thats all you need! I really wouldnt put a braided brake line on the rear tho.....

Im sticking with 2 gold calipers up front! Im am going to leave the rear blac, my exhauset blocks it anyway so i figured it would be point less...

 

lol my exhasut doesnt its the underbelly so gold bling in the back. ima get the braided since ima be taken it all apart to begin with so might as well

 

the gold cailpers are going to look so hawt in the front mang!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also...if you can get some gp lines, better braking power...or bust some kevlar lines!

 

haha tahoe no way kevlar lines, im not the bank of harlem. using the goverment money when it comes in to buy all the parts. still deciding on the pads though to put in them cant wait to do this looking forward to this and better braking power

 

Just wondering how everyones project is going! I just installed the 2 front calipers and waiting for the rear it should be in tomorrow!!!
On the other side of things I am waiting for my rims to get back! I bought the repsol kit off ebay and Bout another set of black side fairing to go with the " test repsol " in the off season. So I can not wait to get my orange rims back with gold brake calipers!!!
