today i actually pushed my bike and hit 267k, uk spec, and still had a little room to go but i was kinda scared. it equals out to be about 165 which i know it probablt was only doing like 150 but still thats insane and i loved it!!!

 

If your running the US stock gearing of 16/46 then the bike can go 165mph at redline in 6th gear.

 

Can't say I've ever hit 165mph. I see about 150 quite regularly though and hit a section of S corners somewhat near my house at 140. It's fantastic living in a place where other people don't exist and you see 6 cars on a 3 hour ride.

 

I see 145 at the drag strip whenever I go. Don't really go that fast on the street often. Took a freeway sweeper at about 110 a few days ago, that was about it so far this year.

Edit - drag strip speed is with my other bike, not my F4i. Sorry, lol.

 

So a buddy of mine has an 06 1000rr and i can stay with him until about 130mph then my f4i starts to die down a bit either way the f4i is suprisingly fast to be a comfy crotch. my lifters just started ticking cause i listened to google when changing my oil as well. i fixed the issue like 2 days later after it had already done some damage but it still has all the accel and everything it used to it just dont like to stay at a steady pace...

Either your buddy can't ride worth a damn, or you're full of crap, because there's no way an F4i would hang with a 1000cc bike up until 130 MPH. That's coming from someone who owns and has raced both.

 

I saw 140 MPH... that is fast enough for me haha
