Hey i have a 2005 Honda CBR600 F4i i recently changed the clucth cause the last was burned. I go to start the bike and fires right up no issues. When i shift the bike into first gear it ****s off immediately. Im stuck and out of options.

 

Now this isn’t me doubting you but… your kickstand is up correct?

When you put it in gear does it jump or stay still?

 

I would say the clutch cable isn't adjusted properly and when you shift into gear the clutch is still engaged. Since you're not running up the RPMs there isn't enough power and the engine dies.
