The 10th vin digit is a 6 (production date 9/05, last 5 are 00074 (very early production)). That should make it a 2006???

All 600f are 600f. In the states, we separate the generations with a f,2,3, and 4, with the later FI models as 4i. Other countries call them all f, and knowing the model year is a must to determine what you have.

For parts and info, you have an F4i.

That would be an f4i if it was in the USA. Nice bike.

We call it the F4i because we only got one version. They are called the F and F sport in Europe because they got both versions of the same bike. If we had the option of center stands, smaller cams + rear gear sprockets and a banana seat all together then we would have had F and Fsport as well. Instead we only got the sport model 01-03, then a hybrid with all the sport stuff and the normal F's banana seat from 04-06.

OK Cool Thanks for all the info guys

So if I wanted to order an aftermarket fairing kit for her I would just get a 2005 600F4i and it should bolt on?

It should with the exception of the tail fairing. You need to make sure it accepts the grab handle, that's a euro thing.

You mean a 04-06 US F4i thing?
