2004 F4i - Clutch Problems Turning Right
#11
Here is the video showing the movement on the clutch housing side. The movement is very minimal but is making quite an impact. Turned all the way left, the clutch engages around an eighth to a quarter way out. Turned right, the clutch engages half way, if it's even able to grab. I notice this this most coming out of my driveway.

Yes, that's correct. Also I just noticed my dad changed the clutch cable while I was away, hence the nicer looking sheath. But the bike still does the same thing so that rules out the clutch cable.

My slack looks just like yours. Only thing is it doesn't seem to retract like yours. Here's another video of the actual engagement. Looking at the video it doesn't look like much of a difference. It could be all in my head but it certainly does not feel right leaving my driveway turning right.
Please excuse my dad's talking and my ugly fingers.

I do appreciate your time for sure though! Is there anyway I can send you a few bucks via PayPal for a coffee or something, don't want your help to go unnoticed.

Okay so I don't know if this means this was necessarily solved, or just masked a problem but here's what happened.
I took the bike to a local shop and let one of the guys there take the bike for a ride. He said he noticed the same issue I did. Not even an hour later, the bike was ready to be picked up. I asked what was done to the bike and he said the routing was a bit off... but I knew my routing was just like pictured in the service manual.
Upon further inspection, it looks like a longer clutch cable was added and now my routing goes around the fork, not through it. I will take a picture to post momentarily. Anyways, this worked and the bike feels great! As I mentioned, not sure if this is really a fix considering routing isn't where it's supposed to be.
