Sorry but this just wrong.^^^

I know from experience that a bad FPR, on a CBR F4i, can cause plenty of white smoke and poor idle.

Ya, ok...
Too much fuel has always resulted in grey or black smoke from tailpipes.

Okay well I am a diesel mechanic. I will not argue with you but straight raw unburned fuel in the form of white smoke that filled my garage in a matter of 30 seconds, was the result of a leaking diaphragm inside the FPR on my 2001 cbr F4i. There was no black smoke... (I know what you are saying, I thought it was odd that it was not black too.)

Odd thing to me though is that maybe idle is a bit high, but a lot of early cbr's are a bit high which is 2500-2800 rpm on cold days. However once the bike heats up there is no smoke, normal 1000 rpm and 100% steady idle. I will however keep an eye on this for the coming warmer period for the temperatures.

White (and I hope you're wrong about the color) is coolant burning. Take a sample of your oil and look for coolant in it.

Its possible you have head gasket issues

I will, but I did check coolant level regularly. I'm atleast not losing any. Also there is no noticeable smell coming from it, while burning coolant would smell terribe.

Could be something completely different. White smoke right now means its cold as hell where i live at Just its easy to undo the oil drain plug and make sure you dont have chocolate milk in there.

After that, then i would look at the fpr. Btw, if the fpr is out and you had the pc tuned with it out, you'll have to redo the tuning.

I'm aware yes, I will wait for temperatures to go up because its just way too cold to do anything right now.

Thanks for the advice, will update when i can, plenty to test right now.
