Default 2003 954RR

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to know if anyone has owned/riden a 02-03 Honda CBR 954RR. I have been looking at some of them and am very attracted to the bike looks and performance! Just was curious to those who have any experience with them how do they ride, whats the riding position like, and performance details! I am very curious as I think this will most likely be my next bike!

I will be posting this in the 954 forum but wanted to here from my fello f4i'ers!

I personally wouldnt spend my money on one. Others will not doubt love it. The seat sucks......done deal. It's a tight fit, nice reach to the clip on's, however I did not care for it's tendancy to head shake everytime I got after it in 1st,2nd,3rd gear. I didnt own it, just a friends that I rode once in a while, other than that, a decent bike, it just didnt have enough of a performance gain from my 900 to warrant buying one. Otherwise.....it's alot more power than any F4i running around, that is forsure.

I just got my 03 about 1 month ago, so far I love it. I've put about 1200 miles on it so far, all the comments about the seat are correct.
You might as well have a board with a little cloth on it. But after about 500 miles, it got better. I can go about 2 hrs before I need to stand for a moment, as for the front wobble as posted before. I never had this problem yet. maybe the guys wheel was off a bit. knowing what I know now I would still buy it. I have not yet had any back pains while on it, it's just a fun bike to ride and I get tons of compliments... GET IT.....

love the bike mang!!!!!!!!!!!

i was looking into one, super clean for 6300...but couldn't do it at the time.

seat is hard, like the F4i...but if you have buns of steel, not an issue.

handling is great, etc...it's like a bigger F4i!

as for headshakes, it has lots of power...and will make the front light...but usually headshake's not an issue if suspension is adjusted.
