I got a call from the mechanic a couple hours after I dropped the bike off & he had already pulled the starter & said it was bad. So he ordered me up a new one and I should have the bike back by Thursday or Friday!

Yeah I'm stoked. Getting a great deal on the starter and install AND gonna have my bike back in a few days rather than weeks! The weather has been so nice & I saw so many bikes out today, man was I jealous lol.

Got my bike back last night. He knew I didn't get out of class until 7ish and said he would stay late just so I wouldn't have to go an extra day without my bike, how cool is that?!?! So now I'm riding again. Took a short 70 mile ride thru the twisties today! I was a little cold but it was FUN! So stoked to have my bike back and running (and starting lol) again! Matt Borup at Borup Only Suspension Service in Modesto is top notch!

Literally the same question

so my 2003 Honda cbr 600f4i almost does the same thing if the bike sits for about 20 min I can start it again. But let's say I take it for a ride and come back. I won't be able to start it. I'll turn the key. I'll make sure I'm in neutral and I push the button and nothing. No noise or clicks. Just Bought a new battery thinking that may have been it plus the old one didn't hold a good charge. Could it be the starter or the starter switch. Kind of weird if I can let it set for about 20 min and go out and it'll start right up. I don't mess with it or anything literally just let it sit.
