Default 2001 F4i fuel leak on fuel rail

I noticed a strong smell of gas when I just recently bought this bike well as I was taking off the tank to find the leak fuel came shooting out of here even with the hose attached should I re attach the hose and tighten it down more or is there something else that should be done ?

Depends - where was the fuel shooting out from? Could be a loose hose, a broken hose, or anything really

bottom right hose is I think the one you are referring to - has a banjo and a couple of copper seals - did you replace the copper washers by any chance?

Default Fuel leak

Not yet I haven’t but I will get some more to see if it stops it. Do you know how to adjust the idle on this bike ?

you can sand the current ones flat on some 1000+ paper if needs be to rescue them - as long as they are not badly scored or twisted they will be fine. Otherwise just get a couple of matching copper washers from your local parts store.

broken off maybe? Here's a picture of the throttle body, but if you have another f4 you'll know where the idle adjust goes.
