A guy has an 2001 cbr f4i 7,500 miles, Yoshimura slip-on,Intergrated rear led, Black and silver. Fair condition.Whats the going price on this bike? He wants to trade me for my old race sled. I just want to know what I could sell this bike this fall or next year? Whats the hp on this bike? top speed? acceleration? I've been looking for a cbr, would this be a good bike? Thanks

7500 mi ... fair condition... depending on where you live... time of the year... prollylil over3k, that would be my guess.

 

3k what are u smokin that must be some good ****. its hard to determain what fair shape is becuase fair shape to one person isnt to another. are there scratches chips parts missing?

 

During this time of year, I would say $4500-$5000 depending on the area and condition. Around my area (Chicago) bikes in good condition with low miles are going for around $5000. If you were to buy it during the off season, it would run between $3500-$4500. I personally wouldn't pay more than $4500 for an 01/02 F4i.

 

Yeah I just sold my bike last weekend and it was a MINT/Flawless/Showroom condition 2001 Red/Black with 2,730 miles on it, bone stock......had 2 guys offer me $4500 cash just for the bike

Ended up selling it for $5,100 with my gear though

next year, there will be allnew lineof bikes coming out, there will be way more people riding... bikes are not going to be worth what they were... he said it was in fair condition... 2001 f4i isn't going to appeal tomany... i can find 03-04 gsxr around here for 5g

 

there are already all new bikes out i dont think that is going to cuase current models to drop like crazy. also the reason gixxers are so cheap is becuase the market is flooded with them and people are competing to sell them. there are maybe 3 f4is for sale in my area there are probly 11-15 gixxer 600-750s and the f4i 01 and 02 listed in my area are around 5g http://www.wantaddigest.com/view/catlist26.asp?cat=HOND

i say check kbb and then take off what you think it would cost to repair damage or repairs

 

The problem with KBB isthat it's toogeneric though

You can't list miles or condition or anything for the motorcycles...just gives a rough value

It all depends on the market/location more than anything

 

i got my 01 f4i, good condition (3 visible scratches.Break the surface of the finish, but not through paint), cams, rockers, rollers, frame sliders, 8600 miles for $3800. I thought that was a fair price for it..
