Hey guys i have a 2005 f4i. I want to swap out the tail out and put put the 01 to 03 f4i tail on. I was wondering if it would bolt up and how much stuff would i have to change. I like the other seat better then the 05/06 seat.

 

I did it to mine and you will need a new subframe, battery tray, pegs, tail light assembly, front and rear seats, and a tail cowl.

If you have all of the parts you will be able to do it in a single day.

do you need any additional bolts? or do all the 2004 bolts work?
any welding involved or fabricating?

it's really easy, you need a new tail light, new passanger pegs, new subframe, and thats it. everything else is the same.
