Default 2 F4i's in a 4x8 trailer?

Hi, Me and my friend are planning to buy a small trailer so we can haul the bikes to track days and distant riding locations.
I found 2 pretty cheap trailers at Harbor Freight:

Trailer 1: 4x8 8" wheels 990 lbs capacity $199
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=42709

Trailer 2: 4x8 12" Wheels 1175 lbs capacity $249
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=90154

These trailers dont have a bed liner, but i plan to get some home depot 3/4" plywood and make a bed.
Now my questions:
1. Can i fit two F4i's in the 4 foot wide bed?
2. I am going to tow this railer with my 96 maxima, which has a 1000lbs towing capacity; so i figured 400+400+300lbs (bike+bike+trailer weight) = 1100 - 1200lbs is it ok to go over the towing capacity number? will i have to be weighted at highways and might get tickets?
3. which trailer do you recomment? I think the only differance is in the wheel size and slightly more weight capacity?
4. Do the bigger wheels mean i can go faster and get better stability? what is a safe speed with these trailers? as long as i can go 65-70 im good.

Thanks.

towing, not supposed to go over 55mph...
as far as 4 foot wide...you can get them to fit but will be VERY tight...with 1 facing forward and the other facing backwards and taking off the exhaust.

stability-wise, it's from harbor freight...just don't go too fast with it.

maxing out your car towing would be very bad for differential and tranny...you sure your car has a 1000 lbs towing capacity? is that with or without passengers and whatever else you'll have in the car? shave some weight, tow the bikes without gas.

We used to tow our dirt bikes in an old utility trailer, was not great, but worked. We towed two street bikes in it once, was hard to figure out how to tie them down and not have anything rubbing anywheres. It did have full sized tires, which I think is important. I'd stay away from small tires. We've since gotten a real three rail motorcycle trailer, was about $500 in the Thrifties. Has tie down spots, rails hold the tires, trailer itself is lighter (we're pulling it with a Subaru), easy to load, waaay glad we've got this one. It pulls better, very neutral, doesn't affect the car's handling at all, light tongue weight.-Susan'04F4i

fitment wise I cant help... tow rating a can. the 1000lbs is based on your wheel base. I own a jeep wrangler and mine is supposed to tow like 2000lbs while an unlimited with the same engine, tranny, and axles is rated for more...

If you are going over by 100-200 you will be fine...

I am also going the HF trailer route here shortly,I plan on getting a motorcycle rail kit off ebay for like $70 to put on the tailer. The little 4x8 HF are the not the most sturdy things so I dont want the bike jumping all over the trailer...

You'll be fine if you park one back and one going front, so the leans are offset. Towing weight wise on your car you most likely will hafta to run with the OD off so you don't over torque load/heat the transaxle.
The biggist problem is the tralier wheel size. If you're going 70ish w/16-17" wheelset on the car than those 12" wheelset bearing on the trailer are seeing around 95-105+mph. Thoses are open packed cage bearing where as your car are a pressed needle cartrige self sealed units. They cannot handle very little highheatload in compair.
As long as you keep it under 70mph and when you stop for gas give some cool off time you'll be fine within 400-600mi of highway cruise.
Best O'l luck to ya mate
