They work very well. Going from stock to -1/+2 lops about 15mph off of your top speed, so the speedohealer is a good idea at that point.

I'm -1 in the front and I have no problems at all hanging with the 1000s.

Really, my stock F4i has no problem hanging with the 1000's.

Not everyone is talking straight line, and not everyone runs it out to the drag limit.

Actually most people with 1000cc bikes cant ride them to their potential. A good 600 rider could hang with the 1000's and not be dreaming. Not everyone that rides a bike is going to be incredible at it.
