That's a GREAT idea. I'm really tempted to do it now.

What'r you hiding in your mirror and by your keys? lol

How do you have you mount set up?
Thanks, easy to see.

Garage door opener is by the keys. I scratched out the mirror so Idaho doesn't see....

I will see if I can get a pick of the mount. I have changed it since to RAM mount.

I personally prefer to have the outlet under the seat due to the moisture and theft risks. Thats where it is and I use it to power my gps device. It works well.

I considered putting it under the seat but I cant think of anything I would charge back there. Moisture isn't an issue the way I have it installed and anything I might charge would be coming with me when I park it so theft wasn't a concern either.

I meant moisture when plugged in. I would not want to have to carry the power cable with me everywhere I go. It's just me.

Ram mount is excellent. Great quality, well made, and has alot of options.

Yeah, I suppose that would be an issue on some bikes. The 1000F you can pop the seat off with the turn of the key and store cords in the tail if you wanted to. I usually have a back pack, tho. In the rain, I don't usually charge stuff. I have a magnetic map holder that i can stick to the tank with my GPS if I really need to.
Most times I don't even take the charger and just leave the GPS off (until I get lost.. lol)
