Default 12 volt accessory outlet

Just thought I'd post this up for anyone interested. I'll be using it to charge my phone/gps/mp3 in the spring. Maybe power a radar detector as well.

Took out the ram air baffles and there was just enough room!

Dang thats pretty cool. I have been wanting to do that for a while but haven't gotten around to it yet.

total cost <$8 (less than 5 for me as I already had the inline fuse holder)

Good few of us Hurricane riders have done the very same JP, nice job by the way.
Nice and neat. You be putting the micro (short) usb insert in there ??

Actually my car charger has a usb port on it so there's no plans to

Very nice, JP.

Like sprock said, several of us Hurricane dudes have added them too.

Here's mine:




I actually attached a battery tender plug on the end of mine (fused) so I can just unplug it and plug my tender into the battery.
The USB plug thing that sprock is talking about is really useful for USB devices so you don't need the big 12v plug ends on your cords.
I used it to charge my flip when we were down in TN.

Icic. I might have to consider that. We'll see how this setup works out. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to mount my phone; let alone route wires to it. Lol

What'r you hiding in your mirror and by your keys? lol

How do you have you mount set up?
