I don't have the bike completely back together from the winter projects but it has just been too nice here in Iowa so I had to take it out for a quick ride. Putzing along around at about 25mph, snap the throttle and instant 1 wheel action . Major improvement over stock!

-1/+2 in 6th gear at 80mph gives you a 8K RPM cruise... I definitely could find that annoying!

Make sure you get a speedohealer to calibrate your speedometer. Otherwise your speed will always be off, and you will rack up more miles on your bike than your really have on it.

For the guys running at 80 at 8k rpm.. do you have a speedohealer on? Or are you really doing like 65 at 8k?

Good point...if they are really rolling around town at 65mph doing 8K rpm...wow. I hope they are on the Obama plan for health care....their ears prolly gonna be needing it!

good to know. I have a chain/sprocket set coming in -1/+2 and I'm excited. I wasn't sure about the highway thing but I guess if it's too bad I can always change sprockets again, or use earplugs.

I forgot about the speedo being off... any suggestions on products or is the speedohealer really the only one?

I seen other knock offs but speedohealer is worth the 100 bucks.. Specially if you intend selling some day.. I have one and love it..
