Holy crap dood,I couldnt agree more. I ended up tracing the route of the O2 sensor wire and pushed the plug abit. Finally got another inch out of it and wasable to screw in the O2, pretty tight but not scary tight. Thank god, I def didnt want to start cutting wires.

Yeah, it connects to one of the main harnesses unerneath the rear of the gas tank on the shifter side of the bike. Go here - http://www.stephygee.com/ and download the 01 - 03 CBRf4i manual. It will show you exactly where it is supposed to connect on the bike.

if you have a soldering iron, you can actually just extend the wire yourself. whatever that idiot at 2 bros told you about taking it out and strapping it to the frame is bull. Your bike wont run right if its not in the exhaust.

have you thought about just extending it yourself? you have to solder it if you do though, because if you use connectors, it will change the reading to the ecu.

Yeah, I was thinking ig cutting, extending and soldering. After reading on the internet about O2 sensors in general, I found out that almost all of them (especially the 4 wire ones which include heater wires like the 06 F4i) are made out of stainless steel wires which are close to impossible to solder back together. Luckily I didnt have to take this route. I ended up making it reach.
