06 clutch

My clucth was slipping a little a couple months back, and the other day it was realy bad. Any gas i gave it it would just slip. I pulled the clucth today. The first clucth disk was all most worn out on the one side of the disk, but the rest are fine way above the sevrice limt. When looking on line at the oem manual, the first disk for the front is green the next 6 are purple and the last one had a bigger id. Is there a reason the first one is green, are they all the same or is the first disk thinker or some thing. Will one bad clucth plate realy make the bike slip that bad. I am going to replace them all but figure i would ask. Springs are ok so are the clucth plates. 2006 10200 miles yes the clucth should have lasted me longer but been beating the heck out of it i should no better. I did not try to adjust the clucth befor i took it apart, figure it was slipping so bad i would take a peak.

Hmmmm...on an 06 it couldnt have gone bad that fast. I would put it back together and try readjusting the clutch first. Save yourself some work and some money. A new clutch assembly on ebay is 129.

I found that the rear cluth disk is wiped out too, clucthing it up in2 gearis hard on stock clucthes, a faze that i have been going threw but i am down with all that wheelie stuff. Figure no sence of tring to adjust it since the two plates are badly worn.
