Default 05 F4i Split Seat Conversion Questions?

What up fellas,

I have an 05 F4i in Candy Glory Red, Im looking to do a split seat conversion because I cant stand that Banana Seat, I got a rear seat cowl on it painted flush to the bike, it helps the look but it doesn't cut it. My question to you is A)Does anyone have a kit they put together for this modification that they would like to sell? B) Does anyone have any parts for this conversion (granted I cant buy a kit from someone) and C) does anyone have any fairing for this bike thats in mint condition? I appreciate the help and responses. Thanks guys.

Check the classifieds for the parts here on the CBR Forum, or if you need check out Stuntlife.com. There are always F4i parts for sale on there.

As for the process, I think I remember seeing a couple threads on here that should walk you through it.

Good luck, it's rare that someone pulls together all the stuff then decides to just resell.

you can piece it together if you want you have to get a new subframe, plastics, rear seat, tail light, and hardware.

I did the split-seat conversion a few mos ago. There were no kits avail anywhere...had to gather parts from many dif sources, that took quite a bit of time. Make sure when you find a subframe that it is straight & has good seat bolt threads.

Ebay & motorcycle salvage yards are best for parts.

So he's gonna sit on the battery?
You'll need the front seat too.
