OK! Here what u need to get started!! All the following parts should be for or from a 2001-2003 Honda F4i:

The Major Parts:

- Subframe
- Rear Cowl - new or used, generic aftermarket replacement - will need to be painted to match your bike so color is not important.
- Rear footpegs
- Rear Tail Light
- Undertray, with Battery compartment Lid... Important to relocate the ECU module
- Front Seat
- Rear Seat

Most of the hardware you removed will work to reinstall the 01-03 parts with a few exceptions, I will post the minor ones I ordered later. This will get you started for the conversion. You might find some of the things I ordered unnecessary but I wanted the bike to look and be stock.....

A few mods had to made in order the get the rear light wiring harness to reach the rear tail light and a hole drilled in the bottom of the battery tray so the negative cable would reach the terminal of the battery. But that is near the end of the project and I will cover later...

Hope this helps to get u started, let me know what else u need!!

The converstions looks SOOOOOO much better than the old banana seat look. That's one of the reasons I NEVER considered the F4i as a contender when I was buying a new bike. I just can't stand that ugly one-piece seat. The split seat looks much better, and your bike looks a LOT sportier as well. Great job man.

Hmmm... I guess it's a personal preference. In my opinion, I like the single banana seat. Open it, and you access that big space underneath with ease. It's comfortable and easy to change riding position on. Last but not least, if a hot chick wants to ride on back, she can slide as close as possible to me very easily... LOL

Dude, that looks 10000 times better than stock, I currently own an 02 CBR 600F4i and was really tripped on my next bike, only because of the banana seat, but now there is no question!! Thanks for posting the pics of your great mod to an already (except for the fruity seat) nice bike.

Good job, I just dont understand why honda went back to that bannana seat and why they got away from the black frame. I have an 01 and love it.
